Beyonce is ready to jump on the fragrance bandwagon.... why did I already think House of Derreon had a cheap scent out?? ...anywho... Abercrombie & Fitch as you may or may not know already has a heavily branded scent called Fierce. Court reports filed by the teen retailer state they have spent millions of dollars on machines to fill the stores with the trademarked scent so that the clothes exude "Fierce" once they're purchased (....wow A & F, you guys are SMART!!! No wonder your customers smell so good!!).

A & F already went a step ahead of Lady Derrier and put out a Cease and Desist and filed an injunction in order to block Bey and Coty, Inc (the company handling the fragrance) from even sweetly dreaming or beautifully nightmaring of putting out a "Sasha Fierce" scent cuz it will confuse their target market... While I don't understand how a bunch of preppy white kids could possibly confuse A & F goods with that which will appeal to a bunch of femme black boys led by Kanye West (see photo below), businesses must protect their brands I suppose.

While Beyonce's camp claims that they do not plan to use a scent branded under Sasha Fierce, documents filed to the Patent and Trademark office from 2008 clearly state otherwise... (I mean seriously girl, you're not dealing with ex-Destiny's Child members, these are professionals... they WILL find out.)

A & F will probably win this battle, but aint nuthin like a good legal sparring.

This just in: Kanye has already been spotted prepped for boycott outside of the courthouse....

Whooooaaa.... this battle could get fugly.
